Colorful passport stamps, visa documents, messy airline stickers, baggage tags, a polaroid and a few handwritten notes from fellow adventurers – flipping through my travel journals takes me on a journey through time. It is almost as if I see it all right in front of me as my fingers glide over the pages. A year long I chased every dream I could think of: fearless and persistent. It was my ultimate quest looking for who I am and what I want to be, an emotional journey with the highest highs and the lowest lows.
…With bringing these stories out, I hope to inspire people to truly get to know themselves, push boundaries, cross borders, and do what they have always wanted to do…
Now I have reached the milestone of publishing “13 Diamonds – Life Before Death from a Child’s Perspective”, I cannot help but outlining this other chapter of my life. Many times people have asked me about my travel stories, but there are only a few that have been told. With bringing these stories out, I hope to inspire people to truly get to know themselves, push boundaries, cross borders, and do what they have always wanted to do. Do not be a victim of your circumstances and do not wait till it is too late. The world is out there waiting to be explored. While traveling, we learn. We learn about ourselves and others, cultures, languages, and life itself. It is as difficult as it is beautiful, but it changes our perspectives forever.
I am excited to relive everything once more, while words slowly appear on paper. After telling the world about losing my mother as a child, now it is time to explain how I grew up to be – how life became much harder before things got better and how I fought to be everything my mother wanted me to be and more.
My story is not over yet – it has only just begun.
